Community Partnerships
Windsor Crossing has recently partnered up with several non-profit organizations in the community.

The first partner being St John Ambulance. St John Ambulance has been active in Canada for over 125 years. Thousands of Canadians were taught
to save lives and through their volunteers, save thousands every year. St John Ambulance provides training for life, including CPR courses, which
ultimately helps improve the quality of life. Their volunteers are people dedicated to the safety and health of others, committing millions of hours
of volunteer services every year. St John Ambulance honours bravery and commitment and stands by their by-line: St John Ambulance Saving lives at work,
home and play.

The second being the Miracle League of Amherstburg, which gives children and adults with disabilities a chance to play baseball as part of a team
in an organized league. Since baseball diamonds weren't designed with wheelchairs, walkers and crutches in mind, the Miracle League of Amherstburg removes
these barriers that keep these players off the field and lets them experience the joy of playing baseball. The Miracle League Baseball Diamond will be the
first of its kind in Canada, customized with a rubber surface. The Miracle League Field is part of Amherstburg's new recreation center in Larry Bauer
Park and will open for the season on September 18th 2010.
As a proud partner of the Miracle League, Windsor Crossing has sponsored their Mascot. Individuals had a chance to name Windsor's Crossing's Mascot.
The name chosen was Hunter, which appropriately ties into Windsor Crossing's theme Thrill of the Hunt. The prize was $200 and attendance to a baseball
tournament on Saturday, June 19th, which was awarded to Denise Marchand.
Windsor Crossing offers a Community room space for general meetings. For further inquiries, please contact Sorelia Mejia at SMejia@Bentall.com
